My mom (Ruby) passed in January and needless to say it was devastating. My childhood friend referred me to Mrs. Zakia and from our very first conversation she showed so much compassion and professionalism. The entire staff was exceptionally great and caring. They showed patience as it was our first time making arrangements for a loved one. They listened to every detail and gave so much support to my family. Before anything was finalized they made sure that we approved. The service was beautiful. We sincerely appreciate the warmth, support, and professionalism that was displayed during our time of sorrow and grief. Thank you guys a million times for supporting us with our mom's home going.

I chose Garfield waters for my mother’s final day, and they did a wonderful job. They made sure all my requests were answered and they made sure my mother looked beautiful. I so greatly appreciate Zakia Hobbs and the entire staff at Agape Waters Funeral Home. Their kindness and compassion made a very stressful time in my life much easier. They went above and beyond planning and preparing the arrangements for my father's military funeral service and burial that were held out of state in North Carolina. They literally handled the entire process from start to finish and ensured that every detail was taken care of, including corresponding with the funeral home in N.C. on my behalf! Zakia also called me while I was in N.C. to check on me and make sure everything had went as planned. That was a pleasant surprise as was the memorial blanket that was given to me from her and her staff. The support and guidance I received from them was invaluable and I will be forever grateful. I would recommend their services to anyone who has lost a loved one.

I known Garfield Waters From the 90th and this is the 3rd funeral. He has done for me and my family out of the services he has done for me. This last one was the most impressive one of all I am highly grateful for Zakia and that staff that has done so well people are still talking about it. I cannot say enough about Laila...she stepped in, and took over like a pro. I was having some communication issues at first, but this young lady handled herself professionally, and with patience and compassion. She followed up, even when I was impatient, and sometimes very direct. She kept her Kool, and every answer or instruction was done in a calm and considerate voice. She made sure everything that I wanted for my mother was done, and done to perfection. Laila is an asset to Agape Waters Funeral home. She deserves to be acknowledged for her impeccable service to families she serves. She made my vision for my mother's home going come to life. Without her, I don't know what I would have done. Hats off to a young, beautiful, respectful,caring, and professional young lady. Keep up the great work Laila. You have found your purpose!

So today, January 8, 2026, my family had an amazing funeral for my beloved 86 year old uncle. Everything was set up beautifully with a surprise tapestry with my uncle’s picture and beautiful casket with gorgeous flowers. The seating was so nice and comfortable for the guests. The two staff, Eric and Ms. Bond were right there to help us with everything like obituaries, greeting guests and setting up refreshments. I was overjoyed and everything went like clockwork. Thank you to all the staff that made this event successful.

The Garfield Waters Funeral Home organization was very professional and accommodating during my mother’s process. They are still in contact with our family and are helping us through providing other products and services. Zakia Hobbs was with us every step of the way and they provided us with a full service package deal. The signature book, the thank you cards, the casket background and mostly the blanket. I was grateful not to have to worry about the experience because they took care of everything. Though the paperwork process took some time, the entire process went smoothly. From pick up of the remains to interment at the cemetery everything flowed like clockwork. I know it was a great service because everyone kept coming over to tell us it was.
